Sony STRDN1020 AV Receiver

The sale price of just over a thousand dollars makes this excellent value for the money.
Personally, I think if you're going for a quality component system, it's worth spending more on a receiver with more to offer than this one.
Overall: Yes, you have to pay hundreds of dollars more for 1200 watts of power, lots of HDMI out and inputs and all the other things that go into a quality receiver, but you do get what you pay for. Compare this with others before you buy and ask yourself how much you're willing to spend for the best.

Videos recorded onto a Blu-ray disc will not play in your existing DVD player. To play them you will need a Blu-ray player.
