A competitive price for a 55" LED TV with everything, including 3D and internet connectivity. Sony is one of the best brands to choose if you're looking for a TV that's up with the latest technology.
Conventional wisdom still says that plasma is the best choice over 50".
Overall: I'd say take a chance on this Sony if you see it on sale. You can always take it back and exchange for another. Worth thinking about even at full price, but do some comparing first.
