  • Touch wood this Miele so far is a great machine. Good load size and quiet. It is so easy to use, making washing easy. I think we have used all the settings at one time or another. With our previous machine, which was an AEG, we generally used only the one or two programs. The easy use fold out laminated card is a great idea.
  • The price and the warranty time. We bought on Amex so have an extra year, but it still only brings it to 3. Most washing machines now have a 5 year warranty. As Miele stand by their brand so much it is surprising they do not have a longer warranty - many more would buy if they did. We nearly went for another European brand just for the warranty.

Overall: Fantastic but expensive and should have a longer warranty

Overall: The fact is, most washing machines do their job efficiently. If it's features you're after, check out other reputable brands and you'll find that you can do just as well for less money and even get a larger capacity washer.
